A new year brings along some new blessings. One being the feature article in Walter Magazine; a prominent Raleigh, NC publication. CED had the honor of being featured in the January 2021 issue with the Hyco Lake Retreat project. The publication did such a wonderful job of telling the story of this home.
The home was rebuilt and truly recreated after the spec home that was first being built on the site, was a victim of arson about 3 weeks from completion. No one was hurt, and nothing personal was lost. The fire ended up being a blessing in disguise.
With the remains still smoldering the homeowners decided to recreate their lake home in a whole new imaginable way, and a new legacy home rose from the ashes.
