We love the quote by Dr. Ralf Speth, “If you think good design is expensive, you should look at the cost of bad design.”

Our style is not what is important. Your home should reflect your personality and function. Casual Elegance Designs will assist you in creating spaces that speak to who you are.

CED can provide help at any stage of your project – construction of a new custom home to the accessories that are going to add your personal style to your home. We are not exclusive to any one builder so you can engage CED with any of your contractors. With the digital age that we all live in, CED has licenses with a variety of online software programs that allow us to do virtual design as well.

Grace Austin
Native to Raleigh, North Carolina, Grace graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Meredith College. She has always had a passion for design and a passion for making others happy. Working for CED is where she feels she can do both! Her use of bold colors and patterns are reflective of her contagious energy and design aesthetic. She has an appreciation for the process and details that are involved in cultivating a space. Grace initially interned for CED in the summer of 2022 and joined the team full time in Spring of 2023. When Grace isn’t designing a space for a client you can probably find her with her pup, Daisy Mae at the beach or at a cute brunch spot with her girlfriends.
